Head Coach

As the head diving coach for the University of California at Irvine for nine seasons, the UCI Dive Team racked up an impressive 38 wins and only 2 losses in the Big West Conference Championship Diving Events form 2000 through 2009. In 2006, the UCI Men’s Swimming and Diving Team captured the Big West Conference Title for the first time in the history of the school. As a Diver, Curt Wilson came up through the Age group program in California to become two-time CIF Champion and five time California State Champion. He has also competed Nationally and Internationally.  Curt Wilson competed in the NCAA Championships for both the University of Michigan and UCLA. A former Pac-10 3 meter diving Champion, Curt graduated from Pitzer College in California, with a B.A. in Organizational Studies. Curt Wilson has been the Mangaing Director-Head Coach for the  Crown Valley Divers Club  Team since 1989. Curt was the Team Coach for the 2000 East-West All Star International Team that traveled and successfully won the Amsterdam Cup, a former Member of United States Diving’s Board of Directors, The President of the Professional Diving Coaches Association, former Rules Chair for Junior Olympic Diving, Curt has participated on the Selection Committee for High School All-American Divers, is the current President for the Southern Pacific Association, and is a United States Diving Safety Certified Diving Instructor. Curt has worked with many Olympic Coaches as both a diver and a coach.

    Is there any info I could get on how you might get your daughter involved in springboard diving?

  2. My son moved to laguna beach and loves to dive. He is 30 years old and was # 1 in the nation 8 years ago. He would lo e to dive and didn’t know if you have certain places to dive there or need help.
